John Boyega, Jodie Turner-Smith and Felicity Jones have joined the cast of the new film Borderland.
Boyega, Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), Jones (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Jack Reynor will star in the upcoming thriller, directed by the Guard Brothers (The Uninvited), Thomas and Charles Guard.
Jones will also serve as executive producer, with Rebecca Brown and Rocket Science to produce the film. Filming is expected to begin in the U.K. in early 2021.
Borderland follows Michael (Reynor), an Irish paramilitary whose pregnant wife is killed by an SAS sergeant named Tempest (Boyega) during a border ambush gone wrong. Michael joins a ruthless active service unit to hunt down Tempest and avenge his wife’s death.
The Guard Brothers co-wrote Borderland with Ronan Bennett (Top Boy). The film is inspired by the Steven S. Moysey book The Road to Balcombe Street.
“Borderland is a vengeance fueled chase movie, fusing some pulse ticking action with a powerful message for our times,” the Guard Brothers said in a statement. “We’re thrilled that the script, driven as much by character as it is by plot, has attracted such a first rate cast.”
The Guard Brothers released their first feature film, The Uninvited, in 2009. Boyega is known for playing Finn in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, while Reynor is known for the series Strange Angel and the film Midsommar. [Source]

Hello there! I think I must share this with you all, because I am so happy with all the visitors that I have here.
I am writing this post because I was fired a few days ago. Due to the COVID-19 in Madrid (Spain), were I am living, my company is going to close for now until this crisis will be solved. We must stay at home at least 15 days (but I think, I am going to be here more time, sadly). The good new is that I am going to have a lot of time to do all the things that I want with the site (complete old photos, photoshoots, career…). But I have a bad new too, due to this, I don’t know if I can maintain the site. Without a job, I am not going to get any money and I need to pay host montly. I am going to try my best but I am not sure on how to solve this and it is going to depend of the situation in my country. As always, if you like this site and want to help this to keep online, please, feel free to go here to donate. Every little bit helps and will be used to maintain the site.
After being sad and depressed 2 days, I think it is time to work with the site to not think. So, I am going to try my best.
If you have questions, suggestions, comments… please, feel free to contact me.
Also, if you would like some photos or whatever to be uploaded first, please, let me know.
Thanks to everyone for supporting this site!

It’s officially official: George Clooney has a new film coming out this year. Netflix took to Twitter to announce that filming has wrapped on Clooney’s latest directorial effort The Midnight Sky, which is an adaptation of the Lily Brooks-Dalton novel Good Morning, Midnight. Clooney produced, directed, and stars in the film as Augustine, a lonely scientist stationed in the Arctic who races to stop a group of astronauts from returning home to a mysterious global catastrophe—with Felicity Jones playing one of those astronauts.
Netflix also revealed, along with a set photo, that The Midnight Sky will be released later this year. So that puts Clooney back in the potential awards race, although it’s admittedly been a while since he was considered by the Academy as a filmmaker himself. 2005’s Good Night, and Good Luck was a massive critical success and earned Clooney Best Director, Picture, and Original Screenplay nominations. Since that time, however, his directorial efforts have wavered between the just fine (Ides of March) to the tedious (The Monuments Men) to the nearly-there (Suburbicon). Will The Midnight Sky be a return to form? Here’s hoping.
The set photo reveals that Clooney reunited with his Catch-22 cinematographer Martin Ruhe on this new film, having worked with the DP on the Hulu limited series adaptation of the iconic novel. The ensemble cast for The Midnight Sky also includes Kyle Chandler, David Oyelowo, and Demian Bichir, and while Netflix has a number of awards contenders to juggle later this year—from David Fincher’s Mank to Ron Howard’s Hillbilly Elegy—I’ll be curious to see where The Midnight Sky lands priority-wise. Or if it even is an awards play. Perhaps this is just a nice sci-fi drama from Clooney. [Source]
